Features of supercritical extraction

The technology of supercritical extraction has been widely used in the hemp extraction industry, and has become the mainstream extraction method of the world. It uses supercritical CO₂ as a solvent to extract CBD components from hemp. In the whole extraction process, CO₂ is in the supercritical state of low temperature and high pressure, so the damage to the active components is very small. When the extraction is done, CO₂ returned to the gaseous state through the adjustment of temperature and pressure in the separation kettle, and complete the of separation product and recovery of solvent.

1) The extraction and separation is completed in one operation in about 1.5 to 2 hours, so the efficiency is very high;

2) The running cost is low with the recyclable CO₂ as the solvent;
