3. Product Description

The forged finishing rolls are widely used on some tough stands of hot rolling mill, such as BD stand and blooming stand to perform with excellent strength to avoid some rolling accidents. Meanwhile, it is also a good choice to work on the cold rolling mill as backup roll and work roll. The whole process form melting, casting, forging, heat treatment to final machining and packing is under control of LONSUN Metallurgy Machinery Corp quality system.

Application: They are distinguished by high hardness for the depth up to 35 mm that ensures an improved durability under severe conditions of high-speed rolling which is accompanied by heat shocks in operation.

4. Process of product

1. First the work roll and the back-up roll is produced through forging.

2. When heat treatment would be done to the work roll and the back-up roll, after that, there will still be two steps, which are rough processing and finish processing.

3. The last step is installation. Then it can be used on the machine.

5. Quality Inspection

Quality Inspection: Before shipment, all the products will be inspected through ultrasonic test and metallographic test strictly to assure the quality.
